At Metro Milwaukee Sports we provide the very best sport camps, clinics, lessons, leagues and tournaments for kids and teenagers. 2008-09 Annual Campaign Metro Milwaukee Sports Association THANK YOU! - Your generosity has helped raise $1,020. - Donate Now 2008 in Review In 2008 Metro Milwaukee Sports Association grew in leaps and bounds! Over 3,000 baseball and basketball players participated in our tournaments that we run in Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha and Milwaukee. Teams came from Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Canada and all over the State of Wisconsin. More youth became involved in our winter and spring baseball camps than ever before! 13 players from our Wisconsin All-Stars College - Pro Scout Baseball Club received academic and/or baseball scholarships to play baseball in college. Players on the Wisconsin All-Stars are not only very good baseball players but they are very good students. We require all of the players on the All-Stars to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better just to play on the team. We added a Summer Wisconsin All-Stars team in addition to our fall baseball team. We had 42 teams play in our spring high school baseball league. 18 teams played in our fall high school baseball league, Our basketball program continued to grow The Wisconsin T-Magic Select Basketball program have 4 teams. Three players from our 8th grade team (Jamall Taylor, Jalonnie Parks and Devon Greenwood) were invited to participate in U.S. Elite Basketball Camp for the top 150 8th grade basketball players in America. The camp was held at Baylor University in Texas. We have the best select basketball program for kids in Southeastern Wisconsin. Click on T-Magic for more information on our basketball program. We have 1000 families involved in our programs. We expect to continue to grow in 2009. Become a Sponsor Metro Milwaukee Sports Association is dedicated to providing worthwhile constructive sporting activities to kids so they will NOT get involved in destructive things like gangs, drugs and juvenile crime. Our youth baseball and basketball tournaments attract very competitive teams from all over the GREAT LAKES REGION. That is why at Metro Milwaukee Sports we have hired well known and respected local high school baseball coaches, college coaches, college baseball players and even former professional athletes. For more information and to register for our camps just click on camps and clinics. The Wisconsin All-Stars College Pro Scout Baseball Club will be having a U/18 summer team. We have selected the best baseball players to represent our state. All of the players on our summer team are All-State, All-District, All-Conference or 2nd Team all-Conference. We will also field a U/18 fall team. Players interested in trying out for our fall team should contact Mike Buelow at metromilw@gmail.com to arrange a tryout.
